Much better battle scenes and emotions than the anime! - Oh boy! I was really excited to find someone selling this book a 5 quid and boy was it worth it.I have only read this one and the second one so far (since sellers are selling the first one for 50 quid!) but this is the greatest manga I have ever read!It starts of at the cliffhanger of the second book where Luna says that the Sailor Senshi have to go to Moon to learn the secrets of how to defeat the Dark Kingdom.The journey to the Moon is fantastic even though the anime took a more dramatic approach this is still class.When the Scouts get to the Moon they find themselves walking in a wasteland from the ruins of the Silver Millennium.I can t really tell you what happens next as you will be totally blown away from what they learn on the Moon. The manga is more emotional and you get the feeling more than you did if you watched the anime.The battle fight between Beryl, Endymion and the Sailor Senshi is amazing and the manga has other attacks that the anime didn t have such as Venus Rolling Heart Vibration! but we get to see the classic Venus Love Me Chain.Also the way Sailor Moon has to stop her beloved Endymion from killing her is truly amazing.There are only two bad things about this manga. 1. It has been flipped so it is not read on the original Japanese right to left phase. 2. They are using the english names when I prefer the Japanese but still this is one book to buy if you are a Moonie fan like me!
the best out of the three - I think this book has to be the best out of the three. The storey is teerful yet great, i cant say what happens in this book as it will give it away but all i can say is thats its the best and i have read all of them.all so as usual brill art and also cute side pictures that Naoko Takeuchi does when writing about the book.louise^.^
Not bad at all! - I loved Volumes 1 and 2, but 3 seemed to be missing that special something 1 and 2 had....It s still good though, even if it is pretty hard to follow at times, and its got a sample of the first Sailor Moon novel if thats any bonus!
More than just girls in sailor suits! - Sailor Moon is an excellently written story. If you thought the first and second book were great, you ain t seen nothin yet! The plot in this book is a little hard to follow, but you ll catch on. The artwork is as always, gorgeous. This is more than just a story on fighting girls in sailor suits. It s about four girls who are princesses of planets, another girl who is princess of the moon, falls in love with prince of the earth....anyway, they are STRONG girls, sometimes protecting guys (hehe) and have major roles. It s more than what meets the eye. So if you love beautiful artwork, great storylines, cool enemies and of course great GIRL characters, get this book! But be sure to get 1 and 2 1st. :)
Anime is back full force in America!!! - I ve been a japanimation fan since the very early 80 s! It was big back then and afterwards disappered or it wasn t availible. Now people are catching on faster and better than ever and who else to lead the back than The Sailor Scouts. All of her comics are great and I like the little notes the creator writes inside. It shows her true thanks and love for her fans!!! Please write her she LOVES fan mail.~Sailor Cosmos
